Recently, there’s been a lot of buzz surrounding iOS 19, as speculation hints that the upcoming iteration of Apple’s mobile operating system will feature a design inspired by visionOS. While the exact details remain under wraps, an interactive mockup of iOS 19 has emerged, showcasing a prototype via an App Clip.
App Clip Brings iOS 19 Mockup to Life
A user named “Shane” introduced the mockup through an App Clip designed with Play. This concept incorporates visual elements from visionOS, such as frosted glass backgrounds, enhanced depth, and shadows, to envision the potential look of iOS 19. It also features rounded icons similar to those of the Vision Pro operating system.
To enhance the experience, you can interact with various features. For example, it allows you to access the Settings, Music, and Camera apps, the latter offering a live preview (upon granting permission to the App Clip).
It’s important to note that this mockup is based on the latest iOS 19 rumors and does not stem from any leaks. Nonetheless, it provides a glimpse into what we might anticipate for the next iOS update.
YouTuber Jon Prosser was among the first to indicate that Apple is working on a new interface for iOS 19. He revealed a mockup showcasing what might be a redesigned Camera app for the iPhone, featuring floating buttons on the screen. This notion was supported by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, who stated earlier this month that iOS 19 and macOS 16 will represent the “most significant upgrade” to the interface in years.
Just yesterday, Prosser released additional iOS 19 mockups inspired by insights from his sources. To reinforce these rumors, the recently unveiled WWDC 2025 artwork draws considerable inspiration from visionOS.
