This New Vision Pro Cover May Be Ugly, but It’s Surprisingly Awesome

Today, in partnership with Kyle Goodrich, dbrand unveiled a new protective cover for the Vision Pro named Aperture. This accessory serves a practical purpose: it safeguards the Vision Pro’s front display while keeping all of Apple’s numerous cameras and sensors unobstructed.

dbrand has a solid justification for the design of its Vision Pro cover

The Vision Pro from Apple comes with a variety of items in the box, including a protector for the front display.

However, the challenge is that this cover is intended to be used only when the Vision Pro is not in use.

It effectively keeps the outer display of the Vision Pro in excellent condition while it is idle, but any time you wish to interact with the spatial computer, the protective cover must be removed.

With dbrand’s new Aperture accessory, you have the ability to shield the front screen even while using the Vision Pro.

Just be cautious, as it might provoke a partner or child’s trypophobia, especially when combined with EyeSight.

Last year, Kyle Goodrich shared on X about a custom faceplate he had created for the Vision Pro with a similar design. The online response was tremendous, prompting him and dbrand to collaborate and transform it into a marketable product.

The Aperture cover is constructed from polyurethane and is carefully designed to ensure that not a single sensor on the Vision Pro is obstructed.

This product is available in orange and a more subdued black option for $49 on dbrand’s website.

You can also opt for a bundle that includes a similarly-designed Vision Pro battery clip for $69.
