Sony Looking To Make A Difference In 2021 With Google TV Which Supports HDMI 2.1

Sony was faced with a considerable amount of criticism owing to the line-up of their TV launches last year in 2020. This was basically due to the reason that many of the sets did not support the next-gen gaming elements on PlayStation 5 which had been introduced in the month of November.

The problem has still not been resolved as the various features of the HDMI 2.1 is quite a sorry sight.

Sony Starts A New Year With New Launch

Despite the rampant complaints against Sony products, they never really accepted their flaws. The company instead stated that the customers bought their Sony TV sets for various reasons and all the boxes cannot be ticked off by every customer.

Nonetheless, they are trying to amends this year. Their ‘Bravia XR’, both 4K as well as 8K premium TV embraces 120Hz, varying refresh rate (VRR), auto-low latency mode (ALLM) along with eARC. The firm has not issued any asterisks, false hopes, or promises of upgrades later in the future.

Sony has also made a huge deal regarding the ‘cognitive intelligence’ present in these sets. They are powered with the new XR chip Cognitive Processor. They stated that their new system will move beyond the normal signal processing that Sony has already mastered. They also intend to take a step forward in the analysis of artificial intelligence in several TVs.

Both the Master Series, 4K OLED, and 8K OLED TVs include a new sensor system for detecting the color temperature of the room which helps adjust the white balance appropriately. The A90J in the OLED Master Series included a brighter output as compared to previous OLEDs.

The pricing and dates of availability will be made known this spring.
