As the new year begins, some Verizon smartphone users are facing price increases of up to $15 per month on multi-line plans.
The new pricing affects myPlan customers with five or more lines, as well as those on older New Verizon Plan accounts.
A user on Reddit shared an email they received regarding the upcoming changes to their myPlan account.
Thank you for your loyalty to Verizon. We strive to connect you with what matters most. To maintain the high-quality mobile experience, we are making adjustments to our plan prices. Effective no earlier than 2.20.25, the multiline discount for myPlan accounts with five or more lines will be reduced. Therefore, the price for each myPlan line will increase by $3 per month.
The carrier has communicated additional price adjustments for its New Verizon Plans in a recent support document.
- Due to escalating operational costs, charges for this plan will increase effective no earlier than 2/20/25:
- A single phone line under a shared data plan will incur an additional $4/month line access fee.
- A multi-phone line shared data plan will see an added $15/month line access fee.
- The data overage fee will rise from $15 to $20 per GB.
This plan is no longer offered to new customers.
