The Blackmagic URSA Cine Immersive includes a pre-installed, fixed custom lens system specifically engineered for capturing Apple Immersive Video for the Apple Vision Pro. The camera sensor offers an astonishing resolution of 8160 x 7200 per eye, with pixel-level synchronization and an outstanding 16 stops of dynamic range, enabling cinematographers to record 90fps 3D immersive cinema content into a single file. This custom lens system has been tailored for URSA Cine’s large format image sensor and boasts extremely precise positional data that is recorded and stored during manufacturing. This immersive lens projection data, calibrated and stored on-device, remains intact throughout the post-production process in the Blackmagic RAW file.

Additionally, Blackmagic shared exciting updates for DaVinci Resolve users. The acclaimed software will receive an update in early 2025, enabling editing for Immersive Video and additional features.
