What’s Missing for Now
Two important features will be included in iOS 18.2, but are currently unavailable on the Mac:
- Genmoji
- Revamped Mail app
The absence of Genmoji is particularly disappointing since they’re already available on both iPhone and iPad with iOS and iPadOS 18.2. Additionally, the Mail app redesign is currently exclusive to the iPhone, leaving both the Mac and iPad out of this update.
It is hoped that macOS 15.3 will introduce these features in early 2025. Until then, it’s important to note that two of the most exciting new features from iOS 18.2 won’t be making their way to the Mac just yet.
