Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra: The Latest Flagship To Rediscover Innovation

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has been finally launched. Xiaomi’s latest premium flagship phone is built to compete against the Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max and Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra.

However, Xiaomi’s offering brings an extra innovative feature to the table in addition to the others expected high-end performance and features. The phone has a small screen at the back, wireless charging that is reportedly the fastest yet, and a camera that has a 120x zoom.

Specifications Of The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra

The phone was launched in a Xiaomi event that showcased a plethora of devices, including smartwatches and other versions of the Mi 11. The model is expected to cost about the same as other flagships, at about 1100 USD. However, the US markets will probably not have them anytime soon because Xiaomi lacks the base there.

The main display of the phone is an AMOLED screen that spans 6.81 inches and has a resolution of 3200 x 1440. The refresh rate is 120 Hz and the rate of the touch input is 240 Hz. It also has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The screen of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra appears to have the same specification as the normal version with more maximum brightness and a lesser rate of touch input. However, the extra feature is another screen at the back adjacent to where the main camera is. It is not a second display and is primarily for reminders and notifications for when the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra is lying face-down.

The dimensions of the phone are quite large weighing about 234g. It has a port for USB-C connections but the usual headphone jack is absent.

The phone has 3 cameras at the back with multiple focuses of 50 MP, 48 MP, and another 48 MP. The front camera is 20 MP. The battery has a 5000 mAh capacity and supports wireless charging at 67W. The other specifications are identical to the Xiaomi Mi 11.
