The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 was an unexpected launch at the recent event of the company. After the success of the Band 5 which had its release in June of last year, Xiaomi has decidedly presented the latest rendition of the fitness tracker.
Lei Jun, the CEO of Xiaomi, was elated when stating that more than 120 million Mi Band products had been purchased internationally, since the first time they were revealed.

The newest watch has the primary goal of increasing that sales record. The fitness tracker has a larger AMOLED curved display which measures 1.56 inches. It is nearly 50% larger in size than its predecessor. It also has a 326 PPI resolution which is pretty good.
Additionally, the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 can monitor your heart rate for the whole day and has an in-built SpO2 measure that will notify the wearer of the oxygen level in the blood. The two counters also provide useful information in tracking one’s quality of sleep.
The Mi Band 6 brings 30 different activity modes to track various sports and the different exercises involved in them. Reviews have pointed out that 30 activities are not usual in one’s life, let alone tracking all the different parts of them.
The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 can also automatically detect 6 types of exercises. It will be fine in water till 50m which implies that it will be fine in short dips.
As far as charging and battery are concerned, the fitness tracker has a magnetic charger identical in looks and performance to the one for its predecessor. Xiaomi has claimed that a full charge will last for 14 days.
The band currently comes in green, ivory, olive, orange, blue, and black. The price tag is expected to be about $53. 6th April is also expected to be the day when it and other newer Xiaomi products will be available for purchase.
